    Here a beautiful relic M42 small size.

    Years ago, excavated in Scheveningen (Holland) said the seller but it can mabay not.
    While cleaning came here to camo top, and it was named in the leather of the helmet in picture 16, but not so good to read anymore, and you can it not so good to see in picture 16, but it was named.
    To this day I am still not entirely clear what it once was camo.
    The leather was completely dry but now again supple.

    Wow,great condition all considering where its been sat the last 60 odd years,
    i wish i had it in my collection,oh well i'll keep searching!

    The leather looked better before treatment. I would have sought a way so that the leather didn't discolor.

    No worries Schwerpunk.
    I had it covered with leather Ledervet because it was totally dehydrated.
    But I agree with you, for the treatment it look better i agree with you, but no worries it dries naturally it again.

    This is an extraordinary relic.I can't believe there is still marker on it!!How can you find it?Must take a lot of time!

    Fantastic relic helmet Pieter. Hard to believe the leather could survive like that when the helmet has so much rust!
