Hello chap's This just arrived today i would like to know your thoughts on what part of the world this camo would of been used....It's Kinda pea green with brown patches its hard to tell because of the rust bleeding through the green paint...pic's taken with/without flash trying to capture the applied camo...let me know what you think please..

I'm thinking Med/italy camo scheme when it arrived it had been coated in oil or maybe wd40 so i washed it off and gave it a light scrub to try to take the shine off it..

Hard to say on this one mate, looks like it was painted inside too with the liner out which is a bit odd for a field repaint. It has a fair chance though, bit of a strange colour for postwar use too.

The colour does remind me of the Mediterranean colour camo's.

I think it's just the factory paint that has discolored because of a chemical process.

The reason why there is few answers, that it's almost impossible to tell. Tried this myself with helmet camo questions. Most colours was used in all theaters of the war. We find lots of "desert" camo items on the eastern front, such as the 20l water cans. They look like DAK items. At that time i don't think they were too specific on their camo, not in general anyway.
