Default New Helmet: My First Relic Helmet

Here is my first relic helmet. A Q64 SD Luftwaffe. Got it last Wednesday. The decal is rusted into the shell, a feature I think it pretty cool. I'm not big on relic shells, but this one really caught my eye. I have a spot for it next to my good Q64 SD Lufty

I like the look of it, and the fact that it's still completely solid - also it is nice
to have remnants of a decal as well. Do you mind if I ask where
    you picked it up.........?
    Regards,

    Steve.

I have an Ad posted locally, looking for German helmets. Gentleman contacted me about it, and a boat load more helmets he has. I settled on this and a well worn but nice looking M42 Heer no decal for now, until he and I can work out prices for some of the other helmets. Glad you like it!

Sounds like you will be busy with this guy for a while if he's
pricing them right ! Are they all WWII German ?

I hope to pick up most that he has, for the right price. Many have been tampered with post war, with paint and repro parts, etc, but they are still good, useful shells, expecially for re-enactors or someone who wants to repaint them to look like a new "out of the box" representation. Some have not been messed with. Most are German WWII shells. A WWI M16 shell, a few rusty Italian lids, and a few relics. I've seen them all in person. I don't know what he got them all for (estate sale) but he asked me for offers, so I'm going to see what I can do. I will post what I manage to get, and a few might be going up for sale in the future in the Classifieds.
