The liner looks a little too 'red' IMO - like the Norwegian
type. Possible liner swap.........?

Seller is asking for $900. I'm debating whether I should jump on this one or just hold off.
I think it is just sweat stained. The rivets holding the leather to the band are the correct flat headed aluminum rivets, not the smaller round headed rivets used by the Norwegians on the dyed reused German pieces. Also, the usual large ink size stamp seen on the dyed Norwegian liners is absent. I think the liner in original. I do think, however, that the exterior was repainted. I think they painted around the bird but it looks to me as if tri color was unearthed. Still not a bad piece at the right price. Just my opinion, Jim G.
I agree at $900 it's over priced, offer him $700!...
