    This is number 2 of 3 badges I'm putting up tonight. All three are so clean and new my gut tells me they are fake. They appear sloppy.

    No money passed hands, just inquiring about a few items a seller wants to get rid of. The other 5 I posted today passed muster.

    Clean doesn't always mean new.

    They have maker's marks on the reverse and appear to be original to me. The photos are not clear enough for me to tell what the mark is.

    These Trophelm Shields are original The makers marks are the same as these I have in my collection (PuC in a diamond) ,Regards paul

    A company named C. Pose made pith helmets. Possible it's their trademark ?

    They look good to me, both sets
