    Hi, the leather parts appear to have been replaced and the shell is re-painted. Personally I would not bother with it. Leon.

    for my helmet they want 320 leva which is about 170 pounds

    Original M35 Q with non German liner & strap. Interior paint might be original, but repainted outer shell

    do you think it would be good to restore painting in original color and to put new skin?

    That all depends on what you want it for. If you are planning on collecting a few helmets, I would pass. If you just want one example to sit on a shelf, maybe worth restoring. But think better to save some $$ & buy a real one with original paint & liner, IMO

    the helmet in the picture is real M35 just the paint and the skin are changed

    £170 is alot to pay for a helmet that requires the paint stripping off it.

    No worries about the poor English.

    Simply. ONLY the shell is WW2 German. The rest is not.
