Relic Combat Police helmet opinion

Hi Guys,

I just need some opinion about this M40 DD police helmet, original or a good fake. I would like to buy it, but i'm not sure, and i need a little push.
What is the value of the helmet?
The seller is asking around 220 US. Does worth it?

It is worth it if you want to to pay 220 for a relic like this. If i were collecting police helmets, i would have bought it to have it ready for a future relic display with other relic items.

I like relic lids and for $220 I don't think you'll have done too badly with this one especially as the decals are still in recognizable condition.

No interior I presume?

Nothing wrong with this helmet. Good relic condition with nice decals. These seem to be increasing in value and $220 seems ok.

I would like to clean it up. What should i use for it? I'm thinking to use the oxialic acid or should use softer. Or just leave as it is.
