    I think this is a great discussion indeed and I strongly agree with Dimas. Started with battlefield archaeology myself (age seven) and proceeded int studying the subject . Dimas I would gladly show you the areas of fighting in Hanko next summer! Digging allowed with my (archeologist) supervision )

    Jan, that is very interesting and thank you for a welcome, I'am just approx 60 miles from a Hanko, if I will walk stright up over the sea

    Sorry i dont he spoke about it wery fev times but he was from Võru and when i was there he had atleast 5 friends who were with him there he even got hes pension from germani

    Argoe i suspect if your grandfather was in the original Bataillons Narva he probably fought at the Sinimaed with SS Fusilier Btl 20 under Waffen-Obersturmfuhrer Hando Ruus .
