A perfect example of how different aspects of a helmet decal / paint can survive depending on the ground conditions and the way it is lying etc etc

Very nice. Just love how the decal looks like its rising from the ashes, a real survivor literally!

That is a great loking relic. If you saw the inside first you wouldnt think much is left at all but its like a different lid on the outside. A perfect example of different conditions as Paul said. Well done

I believe there was adiscussion on here a few weeks ago concerning the condition of preseved decals , this one proves the points raised, a pretty good decal preserved under the correct circumstances of soil and humidity and positioning
