    For 150 not bad at al! it has the original liner band and al the pins. Even the chinstrap mounts. Looks like a austrian m17 helmet. I have 3 of them. 2 used during ww2 . 1 Even has a decal is somewhat visible. Looove these helmets for their shape. Good buy!

    Sure seems like a senseless waste of time and effort to punch all those holes in helmets.

    It was all part of demilitarization , helmets destroyed , guns gathered up , tanks and aircraft cut up . You have to really feel for the guys who had to cut up battleships with torches . There is a famous photo of this but I don't have it on hand .
