ww1 relic helmet legit?

thinking of buying this but I need someone to confirm that the paint is original to the helmet? also what would the value of this one be?

The paint is certainly not original to the helmet. It goes over the top of the rust pitting.

The colour is nothing like WW1 Feldgrau.
