Attick found SSch 36 helmet, paint cleaning

Here is the helmet recently bought from the guy who found it on thge attic. The helmet looks with surface rust, and there just a spots of original paint visible though. But after the bit of refreshing it became back to original paint.

Seems that seller did not knew much about cleaning and sold it without knowing the real value of such helmets. I belived it is possible to restore some of the paint but never hoped there will be also red star so clearly visible! Very nice work and great bargin!
