Hi Luis,

It's not so dramatical like your job, but I think this pictures will tell for itself.

The three first pictures are take about two months ago when I buy the helmet. The helmet was wet because I first tryed to clean it with kerosen without sucess.

The others was taken few minutes ago with the helmet actual state after the acid cleaner.

Only a observation:

I don't know a kind of acid I used.

I cleaned the helmet with this two products and in yours instructions are specified only "composition: acids".

Both are "Rust Converters" or "Rust Neutralizer" and work transforming the rust in a protective anti-oxidation coat. I have some experience with them because I lived near a beach and rusted objects was a constant problem to me.
