    Long time reader first time poster

    What method would you experts recommend for cleaning a bit rusty MG34 mag. See attached pics. I'd like to preserve the original paint job and IF possible markings made on top of paint coating (34/42 ?? marking on top and directional arrow inside of mag).

    Oxalic accid will work fine. Only be careful - it is toxic!
