what would be the best way to clean this silver Infanterie Sturmabzeichen 41CHuCo. There are little black dots everywhere.

Don't, otherwise you will remove the patina that has took years to form. You won't be satisfied with the end result, believe me I know...

The spots are due to impurities in the aloy, the process can be accelerated by temperature changes and humidity,there is no remedie!

I have 60+ Infanterie Sturmabzeichen's & haven't & won't clean any. They're best left. If they get zinc pest (white spots of a powdery substance) treat with a smear of vaseline. It doesn't stop,but arrests the corrosion. Stewy S
