kreigsmarine/heer tunic ? advice

Gentlemen:
Years ago I bought what I thought was a m40 nco heer tunic
(excellant) condition from a well respected, NE, USA dealer. I recently found out it was a kreigsmarine tunic with after market heer insignia applied (from in hand inspection-not me). I removed all the insignia. I do not collect tunics. Should I restore this tunic or should I try to sell it as is with above information.

I would sell "as is". Finding insignia with matching wear and getting it restored is not really worth the effort if you intend selling it afterwards.
