    Default M1 helmet restoration parts

    Hi,
I am in proces of restoring a M1 helmet from Vietnam Era (Ingersoll). I find most of the parts for Project online, but I could not find the T1 ball catch. The Steel pot came with chinstrap anchor stamped hardware, I was able to preserve metal parts and aquire New webbing, but Ball catch was missing. So do you know where I could find one?

    Many thanks!

I did a similar thing with an M1 this year, I'm not sure if anyone sells the ball catch part of the chinstrap but on places like ebay Vietnam chinstraps are easy to find. Its probably going to be easier to get another chinstrap and replace the half that has the missing the piece than it will be to find just that part.
