M33 Wood Handle Care

Hello All and thank you in advance for any guidance you might be able to provide regarding the following question.

I recently purchased two M33 daggers, one Boker SS & one E.Pack SA models and am curious as to how best maintain the wood grips on these (the Boker has some hairline wooden grip cracks which are a concern). Is there a forum thread which provides suggestions on grip maintenance or a generally accepted 'best practice' for this type of conservation?
