    Hello to all,
    Typically I restore a helmet and share the results, but this time Im hesitating. I acquired a german M38 paratrooper helmet, dug up from the battlefield. I would like to restore it but I want to hear your opinion first. I know that the helmet is quite hard to find, and often expensive thats why im nervous to go ahead with restoration.

    Please leave it be. FJ helmets are really too scarce to be messed with.

    I was hoping for different advice!!!!! i was hoping you would say "go ahead restore it". LOL
