Article about: Hi, this helmet from Czech warehouse. Under the black paint, which can be easily removed, found quality paint, sand color. Is not that a Afrika Korps?

New pics, cleaning is complete. Leave as is or repaint? In my opinion, a helmet in this color, with its history, in any case.

Nicely cleaned - I'd leave it as it is and would not repaint it......... !

Leave it as is. These are collectible helmets even with the tan paint.

Stupid question: could the helmets painted in the tan color, during the war, the factory method? That is on the inside.
It is argued that helmets repainted outside only..

Forget about it , only the shell was made during the war. The rest of its history is gone.
