Hey Jonathan! What a brilliant job you have done with this restoration! It looks absolutely great, Well finished and well put together! Should be a cracking display piece! A lovely condition shell for a project like this as well, Congratulations pal! Oh and I admittedly have made the mistake of trying a little in door spray painting, I was mortified when I realized half the living room of all places was half covered. (face palm) what was I thinking haha! Cheers! Sean. PS. How are you getting on with your M1 Steve? Haven't been on the forum much lately buddy, Hope all is well!

Hi Jonathon, great restoration project I have enjoyed looking at the various stages of the project, it looks very good. I fitted a replacement liner in a former Norwegian reused M-42 once, and I had to use butter to get the zinc ring to line up with the holes, and annoyingly it took a layer of paint off too.

Well done with the finished product

Fantastic outcome Jonathan, can I ask where you purchased your decals and what type of spray did you use, your example as definitely inspired me to complete my 42 shell.
