My M35 Heer Helmet

Hello, i want to present you my M35 Heer Helmet!
I bought it from a friend and realized at home that the paint outside was removed after the war. It was repainted black and used by a fireman.

So I decided to remove the paint and repaint it with "Feldgrau". That was really a hard work... BUT I DIDN´t remove the paint inside! ONLY the outside paint isn´t original!

And here is the UNCHANGED inside of the helmet! I only made the leather soft!
There are a few "Hackenkreuze" (also next to the number) and the soldiers name! In the leather he scraped A.C.
So I look forward to your opinion :)
(I got the helmet last year when I was 17)

I wouldn't have put anything on the liner or chinstrap - as they are now
stained, dark and 'wet' - better off the way they were, but it is
yours to do with as you please.........

At least with these decals, it will not be mistaken for an authentic
piece or ever sold as one. Makes a nice display though !
