Hi, obtained this M35 relic in Tallinn during my trip to Estonia this summer, it was said to be found in Narva. Liner still left but leather is dry, traces of decal on the left side which glimmers of silver in the sun.

My question is if this is beyond restoring with acid etc? I like the untouched appearance of it but I'm also curious about remaining paint and decal.

    Thanks Al

I personally think it's beyond any type of restoration , also I would leave it "as is" to keep its character.

Agree - leave as is, you won't find any more decal by acid washing it.
