No. 68 Grenade restoration project.

Article about: Hello, I've been working to try and save a relic No 68, (training), relic from corroding away even more. I know the colour is wrong and it's a bit rough and ready but I needed to check that

    Hi Guy,
    i dont have the correct thread gaige at the moment but will get it for you,. all i know is it is 1,1/4" across not much help, But will sort this out. i have out a pic of the shaft for you to see,
    then you know what you are dealing with.

    All dimensions welcome. I have a problem with my lathe at the moment and not sure how expensive the repair will be so will have to content myself with making plans. How are the fins attached to the shaft, have you any pics of the method you used?
    Perhaps we should start a separate thread for this as the first was about No 68's, I'm not sure of the forum rules here?

    Don't worry about forum rules, you keep talking. The search engine will pick up about what ever you digress to. Forums are funny things, you start about one thing and end up talking about something completly different. All part of the fun!
