Oxalic (rust) Acid project helmet? Barn Found..
Hello Everyone,
I got this helmet on the WAF a couple years ago, and I think I would like to try Oxalic Acid on this helmet. I would like to know how much I should use, and what it will do to the remaining leather inside?
I think this helmet could have good results if I used Oxalic Acid, any thoughts on this?
I don't know for sure, but I believe this Helmet was found in a barn.

Firstly I would say that better way to upload pictures to the forum area.
The helmet will get back approx 20% of original paint, and it looks like a white camo.
