Relic cleaning - White Vinegar

    Citric acid is the ingredient in Coke and other items, (such as HP sauce), that cleans brass etc....

    Only one problem getting hold of it, everyone will think you're a drug addict as it is used to 'cut' heroin and is used to facilitate its dissolution into small amounts of water that are then injected. Pharmacies will have it and some big supermarkets.

    Be prepared for some funny looks if you go and buy it though !

    Sorry dave. I know anything of more than two syllabel's gets you all flustered and reaching for a dick-shun-ary.

    Think yourself lucky I didn't use medroxyhydroxymethylprogesterone.

    No i spelt it all on my lonesome, I did go to an English Grammar School you know, school blazer, tie and my school motto Foy Poir Devoir =faith for duty, and played rugger for the A team as a winger

    So the youngster has bought himself a rumbler, but sand isnt the best medium to use, try using very small gravel chips, they allow the items to tumble easily without getting caught in the sand, i dont know , have to teach them everything, bloody kids
