    Default relic coating

afternoon gents , ive noticed after some time my ground dug relic helmets were dropping a fair amount of rust flakes i think the white shelving they rest on highlighted the problem bringing it to my attention ,so as the sun was smiling in north wales i thought i would put my time to good use coating the most prolific offenders in natural beeswax to inhibit any further corosion i gently removed the loose stuff before coating ,im really pleased with the result as you can tell from the photographs it brings out a lot of colouration of paint not noticable under normal as found conditions also it drys to a dull satin finish Click image for larger version.
