Hi, are there any particular tools or specific models of sewing machines that one would need if they were planning on refurbishing or reproducing WW2 USGI field gear?\

Good question. it took me about 10 yrs to figure out how to stich together leather for bayo frogs...… Needle on each side of thread and going through each side of hole! So good luck with you're question. Try utube.
