I have to mention, though, as someone who's used hat stretchers for a good many decades-you may have to apply Steam to the cap when using the stretcher and then allow it to "set" in it's new shape until dry before you can remove the stretcher. Otherwise, it might slowly just go back to it's previous form again....Some hat makers even use a liquid wool stiffener when steaming to prevent this from happening, but in the case of a collectable cap like this, I wouldn't recommend it.
