Very nice, Andrew! Well done!

An utter transformation, and now quite an heirloom. Wish my pa had done something like that.
I think it will look better yet when aged a bit. Perhaps some antiquing is in order if you need more to do.
A piece of art. Great work Andrew.........!
Regards,
Steve.
Well worth the time spent on it Andrew I love it.

Simply amazing! How does the rifle feel when you shoulder it? The detail is incredible, but I also like how you've kept parts of the rifle utilitarian... I'm sure the carving adds a nice amount of grip, and the piece you've left un-carved on the stock to rest your cheek on is a nice touch. !
Looks great, Andrew!
The squirrel is nicely done, bet he doesn't get too close to see the artwork. lol

In this world there's two kinds of people, my friend. Those with loaded guns, and those who dig. You dig. CE
Great work Andrew.
Don't stop now buddy. Keep carving on new projects.
thanks gent's,
it was a fun project. the feel in hand is very nice. no slip grip ! when it warms up around here, i'll take it out and try it out.

Hi Andrew,
Love the work you have put into your project, it has transformed the old shotgun in to a collectors piece.
It looks great as it is but when you have some more patina from your hands on it that will age it perfectly
dont stop now keep up the great work and get yourself some commissions. i think you have started a good trade
for yourself.
Dave.
