I would make the argument that is shouldn't be done. Afterwards it is just a restored representative example, no different than what Miltec does to original rifles. Not for me, sorry.

I was addicted to the "Hokey-Pokey" but I've turned
myself around.
The guy has some pretty good metal working skills, BUT I don't believe this bayonet needed this much restoration. A good, gentle, patient, detailed cleaning was all this 98/05 needed. Honestly, it had more value before the work. If this would have been in near relic condition, I would have thought,"why not", but this one really didn't need it.

To echo what has been said, a demonstration of impressive skills but all the history has been destroyed in what is now an essentially re-manufactured, 21st C article.
