    Default Navy coat.

    Hi,
What do you think about this coat ?
It is worn, it's missing a few buttons and buttons that still has no marking.
There are traces of a stamp in white ink at the bottom of reefer in the back.
    Regards.
    Philippe

I know very little about any Naval stuff.

But am I correct in thinking that wartime issue jackets have the buttons in straight rows, where as the post war, more modern jackets, have them in slanted rows?

    Cheers, Ade.
