Hello for me no. It's construction is incorrect. It should be a one piece stamped box and center round, or a box with a soldered on center round. Also the details are very soft eagle, outer rope detail, oakleaves, and swas etc. Unless there's something I'm missing here it's postwar unfortunately. Kindest regards.

Does not mean its original, lots of dealers have sold fake buckle, these guys included

Admitted it is very close to the one shown/discussed in the previous thread compared with David s posted example. If others decide to give it the green light I wouldn't argue the point. Part of problem in analyzing it, is that it has been heavily cleaned and it now has an overly bright finish. But as always happy to learn. Best regards.
