Interesting O&C ges. gesch. Marked Buckle

Hi All,

Resurrecting this old thread here with another recent addition...found on ebay for a steal at $50. I believe this to be a "commemorative" Bavarian service buckle. The box appears original 1920's/30's period in construction (perhaps Overhoff?) and roundel seems to ring true as well.

Quite interesting buckles in my view and until now have not seen others like this beyond my other two Prussian examples. Certainly there must be others out there to include Saxon & Wurttemberg service commemoratives.

Of course any and all comments most welcome and appreciated.

I would say Adam that from the box construction and prongs it is a Overhoff buckle, good find mate
