A really super "white metal " SA that you have shown by of course, St. u L. This is and in my opinion a quite rare SA buckle and actually, the odd ones that I have seen and also the one that I have in my collection, appear to be in near mint condition. I wonder if the buckle had a limited circulation and as such, the reason for the rarity and the overall good condition?
I am jolly envious about your "prima" nickle silver on brass SA with an upright swastika and marked - RZM 17. Although collectors regard the upright swastika SA's as rare, perhaps they are not as rare as some think. Having said that, a highly desirable buckle though.
Here are my two marked examples by Assmann and of course, the one to complete the trio of markings is missing !
Regards,
David
Hello Gentlemen
Bumping up this great thread with some of my marked examples and with the addition of a list of SA markings found in our database that Ben was kind enough to compile more recently.
