    Hello,

    this marking is very questionable and not clarified !

    Some called it Rudolf Fischer Nixdorf > RFN . Some other interpretations are known ........

    Not sure about the maker. I have seen two examples were the mark was ground off. Here is my example with it's original finish. It is a light grey green and is only on the front. Didn't have a solo photo.

    Nichols & Raimond KG I thought it was!

    A well-known German collector told this to me in about 1977/1978.
    If he was wrong, I am wrong!

    I looked in my files. In 1983 it was confirmed by an American buckle-
    collector.
