Didier
It's an original SA buckle by F.W. Assmann and with what appears to be traces of an original silver wash on the roundel. In my experience this has been the most commonly encountered design of eagle and swastika.
Best,
Adam
Nice buckle Didier, I echo Adams comments

Guido,
A buckle to die for! Never seen one marked with the UE code (not to mention in such great condition)

Hello
thanks again Gentlemen
just a question, how do you recognize a Assmann SA buckle ?
it's difficult to me... something special ?
cordially
Didier
Dear Didier
The SA buckle in question actually appears within a catalogue page issued by Assmann. Whether Assmann was the sole producer of this exact buckle, I just do not know. The exact buckle however is sometimes encountered with markings and up until now, I have only seen those attributed to Assmann. In relation to the SA buckle shown by Guido, the stampings of RZM UE 8 are for Assmann. UE numbers normally correlate with RZM M5 numbers and as you know, RZM M5/8 is that what was allocated to F. W. Assmann und Söhne, Lüdenscheid.
Regards,
David
