I have never come across one of these 4 tabs SA buckles. Interesting variant. I know eagle isn't like anything in my collection.

Hi,

can't make out any points for early or late era ...........

Buckle is brass and roundel is nickel over brass .

Prongs are steel , brass coatet .

Hi guys. Nice buckle and the only SA like this that I know of with the 4-tab roundel attachment. This same roundel/construction also appears in nickel-over-brass (see David's post in the "sticky" thread.) A quite rare and unsual SA in my opinion. Attached is my example for comparison. I also have a 2nd example for sale/trade if anyone might be interested although it might require a specialist in the know as these are certainly worth more than "standard" SA.
