SA Wehrmannschaft Belt Buckle FAKE or NOT? Please help

My friend is going to give me the mentioned belt buckle and I need some experts to confirm that it's an original piece. I will be very grateful! The given pictures are the only ones available. I hope it's good enough.

It looks like it is a cast reproduction to me but I am not an expert so wait for more opinions.

All of the original examples have a die fault on the reverse which is lacking from this piece.

Gents, at work at moment so looking at pics at mo which are not great, for me colour is too grey, there are cast flaws on the rear and the prong sleeve is typical of a fake buckle, I will have a detailed look tonight when I get home, so even with the crack flaw in place I don't like the buckle as it stands.
