I was eluding to a group shot.....found one. Daggers looks so good when in this good of a condition. Nice collection you have, Ronnie. Any tips you would share with a first time buyer? Is there a maker that made a higher quality dagger than the orthers? Etc. Thanks for your knowledge.

Well you seem to have done it again Ronnie, excellent SA, I'm wondering just how many black cats cross your path or do you avoid the cracks in the pavements lol

Nice pick up Ronnie,, great conditioned!......@ GreenHorn,, IMO,,I feel that the early makers made the best quality daggers,Between late 1933-35. Its hard to say whether one maker made a better dagger is a matter of collector opinion,, as the all had their distinguishing characteristics......BUT..if I had to choose,, i feel that the smaller cottage makers made the best quality. A tight crossguard to grip fit is what i try to shoot for,, as is in Ronnies Malsch and Ambronn. Regards Larry

Most of the makers from Thuringia (Malsch & Ambronn, Haenel, Kober, Sauer, etc.) manufactured early SA daggers with exceptional quality. Enjoy the pics
