    below are 2 logo pics..one is Bonsmann and the other Ed Wustoff..which has the trident logo.

    I would say so. The tang would usually be dark overall. The shiney part might indicate the blade has been buffed.

    Interesting crossgrain that is on a slant...which would explain what Ade has pointed out. The grip eagle is too new..and is hard to judge if late period or very recent. Either way..the eagle is not the early period nickel type. This is a Hard to find maker. Regards Larry
