Early SA dagger by Henckels
Gents here is an early Henckels with a straight hanger,i searched for a Henckels for quite some time, Always found them with bad blades...well i broke the spell
Blade has that grey type etch thats visible when you turn the blade, the blade has its full crossgrain but also runnermarks.
The scabbard has all of its anodisation still on, and is almost dent free although it has a crushed ball, otherwise its a great dagger.
Lovely grip with a very good overall fit
Well let the pics do the talking

Very nice Ger.
WOWWWW Ger what a beautifull daggers, i wish i had them in my collection
Ger could you elaborate on the grip eagle itself..as I dont want to make the wrong judgement as it appears on the photos as a later RZM type. So since it is in your hands..I know your explanation would benefit this dagger.
Best Regards Larry

A Superb Henckels! Just look at the original mirror shine to it! Finding an upgrade for this one would be a tough job and one Longggg hunt for sure! Nice pick up,Ger!
