This one has one of the best grips ive ever seen, completely polished and with a superb inlayed Eagle and Sa button.
Wolf rates very high on the rarety list, a 9 or 10 depends on the list used.
Its has the Ho Hochland gau marking like Always placed on the right side of the grip.
The blade has lots of the Original cross grain left.
Overal fit is great, the anodized scabbard is straight with no dents.
The former owner has sprayed the scabbard with transparant lacquer to prefent it from rust, as the anodation is thin.
I will leave it this way although it could be removed.
There is a possibility that the owner switched from the SA to the NSKK as the grip shows some black, that can also be the reason why the scabbard is sprayed, it looks like the blacking has been reoved to restore the Original braun colour, so it might even be period who will tell?
It has a nice logo, and great early hanger.
It also has the typical "bubbling" in the Motto, Always lovely to see
    Enjoy this superb dagger

    Cheers,
    Ger

    Ger,

Nice enough SA dagger with a nice blade, but the grip looks to have been re-varnished post war including the eagle & SA insignia & also the scabbard, thats a shame

    Hi Mac,

As i said in the describtion the scabbard has a transparant lacquer over its anodation.
