    Hello Tobias I believe you are correct the lower guard should have a gruppe mark. I think it's surely comprised of mostly period original parts and I mean early dagger parts not just third reich. Blade, handle, and scabbard all look good imo. The handle fit to the bottom guard especially is poor, the top guard looks ok.. but I don't think top and bottom guards match, mostly by looking at the depth of their notches (top to bottom respectively) and as mentioned poor bottom guard to handle fit. But of course wait for further comment. Best regards.

    I agree with Brian ..the grip can compromise your bid.

    the lower guard looks as chewed as the grip.
