NSKK Dienstdolch with Vertical hanger.

Hi Hal, it is, in that form, not a issue peice. I would suggest it has actually been restored. The main body looks like an issue part, but the clip and one strap have been replaced.

It's original alright.
it's an early vertical variant. Pre-RZM that is unmarked. There were about three (3) varient clip types that I'm aware of that were utilized in these early configurations. Two I have in my collection.
Here is one that is the same or similar. These are called the early "Dog clip" varient. 100% period original and very hard to find today. IMO that hanger set up is worth more than the dagger!
