    I don't very often post in this part of the forum but I have a few daggers which I will share as time permits.
    First up and also my first ever dagger is my SA made by M7/27 - Pumawerk (Lauterjung & Sohn), Solingen.

    Nice to see it intact with the original hanger Adrian and an observation on the right hand side of the RZM mark on the blade there appears to be the faint shadow of a letter possibly the maker mark or am I seeing things.

    Thank you for your comments Gentlemen. Mark, you're not seeing things, there is a shadow there but it is just a blemish on the surface, not a makers mark as far as I can tell.

    Cheers Siegfried, not being well up on daggers, how can you tell it's a late one?

    Nice blade and an excellent late example.
    late:
    only RZM maker code. not the puma maker mark.
    painted scabbard, not anodised.
    chromed metal parts on scabbard, not nickel/silver.
    chrome zink crossguards not nickel/silver, alu eagle.....instead of nickel/silver
    yours is a perfect example!
