Hi Al
This is what I see..and my kind opinion
I see an all early SA dagger all correct in detail and fit. The producer is a 4 in rarity making this a commonly found dagger.
The scabbard stills shows some lacquer on some places.
Thats the good news
What I dont like seeing is a grip eagle that has been replaced and the with the ends of where the wing tips end shows pick marks..below the wreath and on top of the eagles head a gouge or a loss of wood.
Personally for myself..this is a great dagger that appears to be all original to each other in fittings..except the grip eagle.
The choice is yours ..but for myself ..I prefer unmessed with grips.
