SA Dagger Info Please

My dad gave me this dagger about 40 years ago, its was in reasonable condition till my wife decided to store it in my shed which I used for breeding tropical fish.

I would like to know the approximate production date or any other info on the dagger.

It is a fairly early pre RZM piece. So will date around 1933 - 1936. See my pinned list for the SA Gruppe marking to the crossguard.

I have looked on the site for the logo but cannon find the same one where the squirrel has a smooth tail.

Don't worry: Carl Eickhorn used several slightly different makers logos in which the detail to the Squirrel differs. (Eickhorn is Squirrel in German hence the logo )

the trademark would probably date from 1933-1935,,,,nothing more "approximate" can be determined,,,
