Nice dagger and with an Assmann made hanger. Has anything happened to the end of the scabbard? The tip looks like it's been sanded or had something abrasive rubbed over it.

Thanks for the responses! Adrian I don't know what caused the discoloration on the scabbard fitting, it has been like that since I have owned it.

Looks fine to me

Chrome metal plated fittings, metal screw in scabbard ( no nickel).
Scabbard fittings have been sanded to get rid off the rust.
Zinq based chrome plated crossguards, alu eagle, its all fits on a late RZM SA dagger.
Original Assmann hanger ( A is intact, repro's often show the top of the A not complete)
Blade in good condition!
