Article about: This is an authentic SA dagger brought back from the battlefield by my father who is a WWII vet. From what I have gathered thus far, Kober & Co. were not major manufacturers of SA dagger

    I had noticed that too.
The blade at the crossguard looks rougher than anywhere else,
and has grinding/sanding marks - especially noticable
on the last 'd' in 'Deutschland'...........

Thanks for all replies. I will take everyone's comments in consideration and put up a new selection of photos which I hope will address comments and answer the questions posed.

    Hi, Peter.

I love the design of these SA and SS daggers. They are my favourite
pieces of military regalia from the WWII/III Reich period and are
    works of art............

If this was brought back from WWII as a trophy/souvenir by your father,
it is a very special and treasured thing that you cannot really put
a value on - a family heirloom which should be passed down.
    Regards,

    Steve.
